It has been over a year since the 35W bridge
collapsed in Minneapolis, MN. I want to thank my family, friends, co-workers and co-survivors for your incredible
support and love this past year. You have let me heal at a pace that was right for me and you supported the
production and public speaking of a faith-based video. It took a lot of courage for my husband, Mom, Dad, Willard,
Jan, Julie and Dennis to contribute to a video project on blind faith...well, blind faith in me... but not
in God and the work he did with the video!
A special note to
my co-survivors, Kim, Margaret, Frank and others at Survivor Resources. We have said that we wished
we had never met and this bridge had never fallen. But it did and it will forever be a part of us. I
am so honored to have met you. Your courage and strength has been an inspiration to me and I wish nothing but
the best to each and every one of you. You will always be in my thoughts every August 1st.
This web site will be closed down
on or around September 30th, 2008. I do not feel a call to continue publicly speaking my faith and I am happy
to go back to try to live my faith as best I can.
If you would like a copy of the video, please e-mail
me at michele@survive35w.com and I will send you the link. You will need a DVD recorder
to make a copy from the link.
Thank you! Michele McLane
